DO YOU FEEL THE CAT

CAT – the emotional side

Who says CAT is just an exam. If its just an exam people should be preparing for it, go and give the exam & wait for the results…..

This actually doesn’t happen. Even myself, when I started my preps for CAT 2007 thought that CAT is just an exam. Infact as the journey started & as I got into the process, I started feeling that its more than an exam, but could never arrive at describing what actually it is...

Everyday, I was physically present at my college, at home still my mind was thinking only about CAT..Does it mean that CAT is like GOD, you cant see, you can only feel...Whenever I thought about CAT, I was scared about rejection..Does it mean that CAT is like proposing a Girl.......As the exam was on process, heart was beating so fast as if its one ball & I need to hit a six..Does it mean that CAT is like the interesting climax of a thrilling sport....The moment I couldn’t convert or get a call..I felt as if the sky has fallen on my head..Does it mean that CAT is an expectation... I have failed this time..
There is an inexplicable feeling passing through my nerves..A lot more silence like a saint...Does it mean that CAT is that inspiration in life which is missing now....

Now, what is CAT...For many, its just an exam, for some it’s a dream, for few its a part of their life...I may sound funny, but the fact is I have seen people, feeling one of the 3 ways I have defined above....To sum it up, CAT is an emotion, a feel which an aspirant can't separate from his heart when he is giving the same..If its not an emotion, why will the 2.3 lakh junta loose sleep a day before CAT?..Why does the heart throbs so fast during the exam.....I felt like writing this as a reverence towards the feel called CAT...CAT makes you a good Manager, CAT gives you so many friends in life..CAT gives you a chance to check your potiential & character..CAT gives you an aim in life & what not…..

Give CAT to FEEL it……………

DAMN THE BLOODY VALENTINES DAY

I dont know what u think of the Valentines Day but for me it is a rather worthless day.

A friend of mine have started up with a great introduction to this topic and i could not dare to leave it out. Here it goes......

"If you are an ugly bitch with low self esteem and no real friends who relies on movies like Jab We Met and 'occasions' like Valentine's Day to get some hope for love in your pathetic existence that you call your life, then stop reading right now.

I hate Valentine's Day. I hate everything about this bloody month starting from rose day to slap day to whatever ... So while all the 'happy' people will be out hugging, kissing and exchanging heart shaped balloons on the V day,I will be typing bullshits on my laptop."

Now my view ....

Well i agree to my friend's introduction to the full.We are all Indian and from where is this Western doctrine came up .My point is that why we should celebrate this Valentines Day only on 14 th Feb but we should impart love to all 365 days a year. And all those morons celebrating the V-day with your girlfriends or boyfriends let me tell you it is a day of love and love can be between you and your parents, you and your siblings and yes! you and your pet.But the unholy souls struck by Cupid's arrow are just left to the two of you.Why on earth you have to celebrate this bloody V-day with all those chicks and dudes whom you know only for a year or so and why not with the people whom you know for 21 years. But no! who have the hell of a time for parents and what's the use of my penitence for your deeds.

Celebrations:::::::::::::::

How do you celebrate the bloody V-day.By giving some shit papers to those you love for 1 day or for a maximum of a month. So what good are you doing to the world around...consuming papers and exchanging the so-called goodies which would have been made by a child of 7 years working for his survival. What do you get in return.......The bloody gal would heat you up by saying "OOH how romantic..." and in her mind would be
"this is better than the last year's gift given by another moron".

So what would you say to me (especially girls):"Grow up".
I would say to you "Grow up you moronssss"

Bone Of Contention:

Well the latest dispute is that people like Shiv Senas and Vishwa Hindu Parishad interfere in the so-called lover's activities.Well i would say that i would love to join Shiv Sena and beat these idiots who even dont have a place for loving and have to borrow thy monkey's home i.e Parks. When asked to a moron what he has to say for the Senas...He said "Grow Up".Well i think the bloody retard needs to be made aware of our Great Indian Culture and then he needs to reminded of what love is and where the shit you should love(not in public places).

My verdict on Valentines Day:

I support the Shiv Senas only on this matter and i would team u with them and help the RAFs in spotting the cretins and smash them off.I hate Valentines Day.
Well my hatred for Valentines Day is not due to that no girl would go out with me.Well I am too good for a mediocre gal and deserve much better. The real reason for hatred is the bloody media propagating the whole half-wit stuffs for the whole week which makes me burn with anger.
And also all those retards who would love each other in a closet for the whole year and then on 14th Feb all these morons would come out and show their bloody affection to all.
Retards Grow Up....
Enuf said and enuf criticized ....

So Kill the Cupid and burn the V-day cards and stop funding the WEST through Archies Cards....

Murdering The Mahatma

You must be wandering what this is all about!
Well this is what a True Indian must read and think about it. You must know Mahatma Gandhi! (If you are an Indian - u may ask who is he? ; as the world except the Indians must know him or would have come to know about him on the International Peace Day). It is the Indians who are forgetting him, murdering him and his principles in every alley, every street. What has happened to us.Our Father of Nation was a preacher of Ahimsa(Non Violence) and how violent we have become in the recent years.

Everywhere there are communal riots, innumerable conflicts turning to chaos, curfews;well no wonder NRIs think right - that India is going backwards rather going forward.Brutality has grown into every Indian's mind.We are behaving in such a way that Hitler is our Father of Nation rather the Mahatma. We are getting near to a satanic kind of atmosphere and this is promoted by none other than our Great Media. Last week I was watching a news bulletin and there was a special part of about 15 minutes showing the brutality of some people in Bihar kicking and beating a nude man who was caught red-handed of stealing a bicycle.Even this great saga of Mahabharat was joined by our friendly neighbourhood(not Spidey) but the Police.
The program had the highest TRP for the day and the next day I saw a riot at Agra-the reason--Who Knows!!! We only want crunchy news to watch for!!

Deviating from the topic as usual! What do we do now??Follow Gandhi's Path!!!????????...............
Have to think--right!!!

Well how much we have changed over the last decade or so.Before there were people of different community, caste living together peacefully. But now we are brutally murdering our freedom fighters dream of the Sone ki Panchi(The Golden Bird --India{i think}).All the ideals, all the principles preached by Gandhi are lost in history books of class 10 which the students mug before the exam.Well how many of you reading this article(i know-its quite boring)have themselves followed even once the principles which we are talking of here??

I know this mere posting in a blog will not do any wonders. We just are murdering the Mahatma every moment now-a-days.I wonder what a movie like MunnaBhai can do to India.
A very touching dialogue of that movie comes to my mind--with Gandhi saying in there--
"You can kill me with 6 bullets but can't kill my principles,my ideals".
HA!!!! We have killed you Mohandas and we are now efficiently killing your useless weapons like Ahimsa or Non-violence.We are preachers of Riots , of Rage ,of Rape(Wow --3 R s).

VISION 2020---India Developed----

But people of India turned Cannibals

I was Sick; down & out with Severe Fever

Well i was really sick last week or so.I was suffering from severe fever and this time in my whole life i experienced what actual pain is! I was left so weak in 2 days time that i felt it difficult to move my even my eyelids not talking of walking or sitting. I felt so lifeless that I once prayed let this be the end of my life and get rid of this agonising world.
I would wake up at 9 am ,would have my breakfast that also to take medicines(i didn't want to eat anything still forcibly). Then I try to sit or watch TV but could not do it for more than 10 minutes and hence I would again go and sleep till 2 pm.Then i would wake up again and have some lunch(which was about 1/10 th the quantity i usually take) and then take medicine. Then I would make up my mind that now i will not sleep. And now my pain would start. I will not sleep even if i would be in great pain.My whole body starting from forehead till my toe would ache like someone hitting me with a hammer. I would not like to sit,to walk and watch TV neither. Then I would start playing Cricket 2004(computer game;not outdoor) on my laptop. At 6 pm i would again sleep till 9 pm. This is the period i would shiver with cold like someone is pouring Icewater on me. At dinner i would not eat anything as i was not able to take in anything for prolonged phases of not anything. Now i would think of those poor children who sleep empty stomach at nights almost everywhere in India.Again i would sleep and pray to God that i will get well soon.

After 5 days of extreme weakness i recovered to about 50%.But this painful experience had shown me the pains, the agony of those poor people who would be left sick and also with hunger suffering like anything.Even rich people suffer but their suffering is short-lived(like in my case:4-5 days only).
Just think of months of painful irritating moments of many people.....

Well now i have made up my mind that I will be always at my heels for any fever
and let us all people donate something to the people trapped in hospitals(for their prolonged illness) and also something towards the pharmaceutical community of India where many scientists are looking forward for Govt for funds. But now i can say that some private players are emerging in this sector.

The world famous CAR FESTIVAL

EXPERIENCE OF A LIFETIME

Well exactly seven years from this day (according to Hindu Calendar), I was in the sea of Humanity, huge crowd of devotees was surging towards the three multicolored wooden chariots standing on The Grand Road of Puri. I was nervous and excited at the same time whether I will see the deities in the chariots and whether we would be served with good food and whether there would be proper toilet facilities. These situations aroused in my mind as we were sitting at the top of a building waiting to see the deities. My father was at the front row with his colleagues and his seniors. I approached him and was offered a seat beside him at the front row. There I had a great sight of the entire scenario going on downstairs; roars of priests, beating of drums, mridangas, and trumpets. Devotees ranging from different castes to different states were present with their palms joined and praying. Also there were some mad devotees having their face colored, wearing weird kind of clothes and holding flags of nowhere. My papa asked me a question:

Papa: Do you know the names of the chariots?

Me: No! They even have a name.

Papa: Yes and they are Nandighosh, Talatdhwja, Darpadolana

I became puzzled when I heard the names and was having a series of questions to ask for. Then someone from the background said with a serious tone that Lord Jagannath is giving some difficulties to the priests carrying him.

Me: Papa! How can Lord Jagannath give difficulties to the priests? He doesn’t have life in Him.

Papa: No Beta He has eternal powers and he controls the whole universe and he is giving some strains as he is waiting for some true devotees to come.

Me: Papa! What do you mean by his name?

Papa: Lord Jagannath—clasping his palms said “jagat” means universe and “nath” means Lord. So he is the Lord of Universe.

Me: Ok. But if he is the Lord of the universe then why is he being pulled in this primitive manner? Why not they use air-conditioned cars for his traveling? And you say He is Lord and he even doesn’t have a single security guard near him?

Papa: Lord Jagannath is bound by the ropes of His devotees’ affection. He goes wherever they take him. He rides in a high, open cart because everyone can see Him and he is protected by the love of his devotees. He needs no security.

Me: Why does He have such big, round eyes?

Papa: He is staring wide-eyed at all of us showering everyone with His love. He is thrilled to see his devotees! He is an avatar of Lord Krishna and known as Shyama Sundara Krishna of Vrindavan.

Me: He doesn’t look like the beautiful statues of Krishna I have seen. Why is He called Sundara? His hands are short and His legs are not visible; this idol looks really strange.

Papa: Krishna was barely 12 years old, younger than you are now when He left Vrindavan for Mathura with brother Balarama. He promised His dear companions and His parents Yashoda and Nanda that He will return soon. The people of Vrindavan really missed Him and passed sleepless and hungry nights. He went to Dwarka where He was married and settled there. But as He is God he cannot continue to live His normal life as His devotees and dear companions were yearning to meet Him and they prayed for Him and this made Him to come back to Vrindavan again after many years. When He with his brother Balarama and sister Subhadra reached they were wonderstruck at the deep, intense love of Brijwasis for Krishna despite long years of separation. They were paralysed with shock and Their lotus-petal like eyes widen enormously to become round like saucers. And they became like you are seeing them now

Me: So Lord Jagannath is Shyama Sundara Krishna.
Papa: Yes my child!

All of the members sitting around us rose from their seats and said loudly JAI JAGANNATH.

I also said JAI JAGANNATH.

IIT grads launch India's first Internet search engine

Guruji.com, founded by two Delhi IIT graduates, on Thursday launched the country's first local Internet search engine, with a commitment of $7 million from a leading Indian venture capital firm.

Aimed at the Indian web consumer, Guruji.com is focussed on providing better search results by leveraging proprietary algorithms and data in the Indian context, its co-founder and CEO Anurag Dod said.
Anurag Dod and co-founder and chief operating officer Gaurav Mishra, with significant Internet and search experience returned from the Silicon Valley to start Guruji.com after Sequoia Capital India provided seed funding to the venture. "What sets us apart is our focus on the Indian market and the Indian consumer. We have worked very hard to build the best local search product in the market," Dod said.
A study by the Internet and Mobile Association of India says there are about 65 million people who use search engines in India and the current size for search engine advertising is $ 50 million.

Mishra said 90 per cent of Internet search queries were local in nature and Guruji.com would deliver better search results than any other search engine.
Dod said there were 38 million Internet users in India and it was expected to grow to 100 to 200 million in the next couple of years, thereby, offering a huge potential.

In the first couple of months, they expect a traffic of 100,000 hits a day, they said, pointing out that 90 per cent of Indian internet users do a search every day. At a later stage, they expect releases in different Indian vernacular languages also.
Crawl technology used by Guruji.com is a complex computing system that crawls the web identifying Indian content using sophisticated algorithms.
It crawls the web, indexes the data that it gathers and provides the user with a simple keyword based interface to get to the data quickly and efficiently, they said.
Mishra said they were growing database and would first focus on top 20 cities where there is a reasonable amount of Internet penetration.

Anurag has 10+ years of extensive software engineering experience which includes key contribution in two successful startups. As an Engineering Manager in Wisenut Search Engine, he was instrumental in developing its Core Search Technology and has a patent pending for that. Wisenut was acquired by LookSmart in 2002. He also held senior engineering positions in EBay, Synopsis and Delsoft. Anurag holds B.Tech in Electrical Engineering from IIT Delhi and Masters in Computer Science from University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
